John Rhys-Davies, who played Gimli and the voice of Treebeard in The Lord of the Rings movies and Sallah in the Indiana Jones films, guest-stars in this weekend’s episode of Legend of the Seeker. In “Vengeance,” Zedd and his brother unite on a quest to avenge their father’s murder, while a stranger who befriends Richard sends the Seeker and Zedd on a collision course with the past – and each other.

I think she can’t revive Panis for the same reason Zed can’t remove the weapon that is a magical one since Cara can turn it against the sisters. That’s just a supposition of course.
I thought all the Sisters of the Dark were all dead also. Where are they all coming from??? Why couldn’t Cara give Panis the breathe of Life to bring him back. Or getting killed by that star thing is the end???? It was a great episode!!!!
I can’t wait for this episode. For them to have John Rhys-Davies, one of the most known faces in scifi/fantasy, makes the wait even more unbearable.
I would love to see Darken Rahl come up through the campfire and say, “The dwarf breathes so loud, we could have shot him in the dark.” Ha!
I noticed our dear Mother Confessor is losing grip of her daggers in the last still. She’s so powerful that she no longer needs to hold them to wield them!
John Rhys-Davies…a class act, who will no doubt add to the drama of this episode. Even if the episode ends as just a same-ole, it will probably be enjoyable because of him. Then, there is always Bruce Spence, whose glare always gets attention. lol.
Don’t forget John Rhys-Davies also had a memorable guest-role as King Richard the Lionheart in the wonderful television programme ‘Robin of Sherwood’. This was a magic-filled, highly mystical take on the Robin Hood legend, with a bit of ’80s camp thrown in, and well worth watching. Perhaps it’s due a bit of attention from this excellent website…?
Here in the UK we’re a few episodes behind on ‘Legend of the Seeker’, but I’m really enjoying it and it has become the highlight of my week. I’m desperately hoping they release it on Region 2 dvds! Can’t wait to see this episode!
i thought that all the other sisters of the dark were died. this is going to be an great show it better not disappoint
