I’ll be checking it out, but my expectations have been adjusted accordingly, thanks.
I’m worried. See, i’m going to have to watch this because I have a serious addiction to all things fantasy. However, this looks like it will cause physical pain to watch. Personally, I like when fantasy and Sci-fi shows and movies don’t take themselves too seriously, but there is a point. Now, I get that this is supposed to be satirical, but it’s hard to tell if it’s going to go to far and eventually stop being funny.
Am I the only one who thinks this show looks like a game of Munchkin?
I agree completely. I’ve seen the completed show (which I will review shortly), and it’s good, but not great. It mocks the cliches of fantasy, but not the genre itself. And it’s funny–I just wish it were a bit…fresher. Still, it’s just the pilot!
